One of our clients was not convinced about the project but he trusted us (These are the clients we like!). One year and half later he made us proud saying: "You were right! Last year two of our best contacts came from LinkedIn".
Sometimes companies invest huge amounts on traditional promotional channels and don't try new solutions, less expensive and more effective like social network ones.
Why is social network so important? Social network is part of a changeable world that needs a lot of attention. Each social network has its own features.
We have developed an idea, daily called into question...
In the following lines, you can find some ideas about principal social networks used by western companies everyday.
Facebook.
The Facebook business page management, helps to improve traffic on website. Facebook is the perfect solution for managing events, directly engaging final client, building brand identity. On the other hand, Facebook is less useful for selling, as it is explained by this Forrester's research: http://www.marketingpilgrim.com/2011/04/forrester-says-facebook-and-ecommerce-dont-mix.html
Facebook business page management requires time and attention and a specific strategy for focusing on the target.
YouTube.
Have you already seen the new YouTube's home page? It has really huge potentialities.

Twitter.
Do you want to read or to write news about a specific theme in real time? Twitter is the solution.
In the USA Twitter replaced sms, never loved by Americans. It represent a new manner of sharing information, always updated and about a wide range of topical themes.
An information channel not for everybody, but just for news-addicted people.
LinkedIn.
Have you a professional job and do you like sharing ideas and news through a social network? Don't miss LinkedIn!
LinkedIn allows you to create your own social-professional profile; to send messages and connect to other professionals; to create and participate to special-interest groups; to build a business page including your catalog of products and services.
LinkedIn gives you powerful searching tools for finding people, companies, interest groups, job offers and opportunities, news and answers related to discussion points.
It is one of the few social networks visible in China too.
Google +
It is the youngest social network but is growing fast...we love it because we are Google's fans!
Some differences from Facebook are:
1. It asks you to share what is new, which is completely different from "What are you thinking about"? Google+ invites to write something really interesting for other people too.
2. You decide how to order your contacts and friends into the social network.
3. It uses more precise and powerful searching tools.
4. Now you can create your business page on the social network: it does not manage events.
5. At least, for now, it does not manage events and has not advertising as Facebook...
